Steampunk Keygunby ~HeatherBomb

Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Objects / Weapons

It is a key, and a gun, and not very practical at all !
I've been drawing a lot of steampunk stuff, and was trying to design a weapon to go along with a character I will begin to model here in a few.

Took me a couple months to do due to lack of time.. scrambling for a new job seems to take most of it.

Actually, there were actual keyguns bck in the day. They were given to prison guards. They were perfectly functional as both a key and a gun

Very nice I must say ^^ I see alot of overcomplicated things in the steampunk genre and Im glad I'm not the only one not doing that, at least not all the time lol

Hm. Practical or not, there actually existed such a thing at one time. Just a small single shot pistol with a solid grooved ridge along the bottom of the barrel for opening certain doors, all though, not as elaborate nor as intricate as your design.
